Sending a payment from Whistle is easy!


IMPORTANT: If this is the first time you are sending a payment from Whistle, you will need to fund a budget - basically add funds to Whistle so that you have something to send.  


  1. Click on the wallet tab from the primary navigation bar on the left side of the screen.


  2. Click on the “Send a payment” button just below the wallet and budget.  This will open the send a payment modal.


  3. Add the person(s) receiving a payment. People you already added to Whistle will appear in the list on the screen. If you want to add a new person to receive a payment, click on the blue “add person” icon.


  4. Click next to continue. The "next" button will turn blue once you select at least one person.

  5. Select the payment amount

    You can send an amount specific to a reward concept, and/or manually enter the amount you want to send to each person below.

    If you have more than one budget, you can change the budget that the funds will be sent from.

    You also have an option to designate a budget category that will appear in the recipient’s wallet. The “send a payment” model defaults to “General expenses” – funds that can be used for any purpose


  6. Click next to continue. The "next" button will turn blue once you select an amount to send.

  7. Add a note. It’s optional but always nice to make clear why you are sending a payment to someone.


  8. Click next to continue 
  9. Verify information is correct

    One last check before you send the payment to make sure all the information is correct.

    You also have the option to schedule the payment for a later time and date. The default is to send the payment right away. It typically takes just a few seconds to process.


  10. SEND PAYMENT. Job well done!

    Easy, simple, just Whistle.
